Bubbly moments

I haven't posted in a while. Partially because I haven't been working on much lately. Partially because I was going to wait until I had a few more pieces done in my landscape series. I am not sure when I am going to post more of those pieces. But I decided to share a couple of pieces I did earlier in the year.

It is really hard making art for someone you have in mind when you are really not sure of their likes and dislikes in art. Sometimes it helps just knowing the person's personality. I think I did okay on a house warming gift to my cousin and her hubby on behalf of my aunt who asked me to make a little something.

Cracking Up
24"x30" mixed media on cradle board

In addition to the house warming gift, this cousin was getting married. So I wanted to continueon with my obsession of spheres. It's amazing how quickly one object can change in appearance when approached from a different point:

Bubblicious
12"x36" acrylic on canvas

Although the painting looks to be all in greys, if you look closely, you can see a couple of balls of pink. Because Brandi likes pink and because I felt it finished the piece.
